Happy Trails

Every day is a great day for an outdoor adventure. Hiking and exploring in nature are a favorite family activity for us. And, having a great snack on hand ensures good spirits and high energy so, we do our best to remember to bring some trail mix. There are so many great combinations, just sharing our favorite creation.

Since gogi berries can be a bit spendy, this is a great way to indulge and reap their benefits without breaking the bank. And, chocolate…no explanation needed, it’s a must for trail mix!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup roasted & lightly salted cashews or roasted almonds *

  • 3/4 cup raw walnut pieces

  • 1/4 cup golden raisins

  • 1/4 cup gogi berries

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • abundant love

Directions

  • Toss all items into an airtight container and enjoy!

Notes

  • * The combination of lightly salted nuts and chocolate is divine.  If you prefer all raw nuts…well, go nuts!  It will also be delicious.
