Boost your Immune System

Drink your greens! We have been making this delicious drink every few days and enjoying it daily. We are doing our best to keep our bodies well-nourished and strong. Thanks to the minimalistbaker.com for this great recipe.

We have streamlined prep work for this drink by making double batches. We also wash and chop extra quantities of cilantro, parsley, kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, and ginger to freeze together in the amounts needed for each green drink batch. Then, we just grab a bag from the freezer, add the remaining ingredients, and fresh green drinks are served!

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 lemon (2 Tablespoons) freshly squeezed lemon juice*

  • abundant love

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth.
  • Pour into a mesh straining nut milk bag.
  • Serve (over ice is nice) and chill the remaining for up to 2 days.*

Notes

  • * This juice tastes best to us when chilled.
  • ** Turmeric is optional, we like it for it’s anti-inflammatory properties.
  • *** One day, we were low on lemons and were able to substitute half the amount of lemon juice with fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice and, the drink was just as tasty.
